Since graduating with a first-class degree in music from Oxford University in 2021, Sebastian has performed with several professional ensembles including Ex Cathedra, Stile Antico, Ora Singers, Arcangelo, The Gabrieli Consort, Siglo de Oro, Polyphony, Ensemble Pro Victoria, Oxford Camerata, The Choir of the Age of Enlightenment, The Carice Singers, The Royal Academy of Music Baroque Orchestra and the Oxford Bach Soloists.

He was recently awarded the first prize in the 2023 Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition. He features as a soloist on the 2019 CD of Tudor Christmas Music released by the Trinity Boys’ Choir, as well as on Magdalen college’s disks ‘Sing, Precious Music’ and ‘The Sweet and Merry Month’. As a part of the 2022 St John the Evangelist New Generation Artist series, he performed Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin in the Oxford Festival of the Arts. Sebastian was the tenor soloist for Ex Cathedra’s Christmas Oratorio in Birmingham Symphony Hall and Monteverdi Vespers at Birmingham Town Hall. He has performed as part of the Utrecht early music festival, the BBC Proms and the Three Choirs Festival. He currently studies with David Pollard, and has benefitted from coaching with Roddy Williams, James Gilchrist, Nick Pritchard and Mark Padmore. He evangelised for Oxford Bach Soloists’ St John Passion in April 2023 and was a soloist for Mozart’s Requiem at St John’s Smith Square in June 2023. From the autumn, Sebastian will begin the masters course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, with a full scholarship and support from the H R Taylor Trust as well as the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
